Come join another lekker get-together: meet new people, kuier, braai and kak praat. Meet from 5pm onwards – we’ll light the fire shortly after 5:30 pm.

Bring your own meat, utensils and plates. There is a salad and desert table – everyone usually brings something to share. See comments to see who’s bringing what. Lekker man!

There’s two charcoal braai’s, and a gas one – everyone braai’s their own meat. Charcoal will be provided.

Bring your kids – there is a lekker play area. Teenagers are more than welcome … there’s a lot of teens wanting to meet others. Brits are also very welcome.

The braai and entertainment area is covered, so its not a problem if it rains. And there is heating, noggal!

If coming by car, parking is available in the street right outside the pub. The Spotted Dog is in a central location, suitable for public transport.

USEFUL INFORMATION: for those who have never been to these braai’s; here’s some info.
–> The address is: The Spotted Dog, 104 Warwick Street, B12 0NH. The pub is on the corner, and there’s street parking available. Its in a central location, within walking distance from trains and buses
–> What if It is rains, and it’s too cold? Moenie worry nie … the braai area is covered, and has heating. We light a chiminea fire to provide heat as well (winter months)
–> Bring your own: paper plates, knives, forks, spices, serviettes, braai utensils and meat
–> Bring a salad to share, or something to share (not compulsory). We usually mention who’s going to bring what, to prevent any duplication
–> Do not bring your own drinks. Alcohol/soft drinks available at the bar
–> Everyone braai’s their own meat, so bring braai tongs
–> Please clean up after yourself: we respect what’s not ours
–> If you have any particular music you want to listen to, bring it with. There is a sound system that takes CD’s, iPods, etc.
