Family, friends and an ever increasing group of concerned supporters, of Ashley Oosthuizen (22), a young South African girl, who was imprisoned for life in a Thai jail two years ago, are appealing to the ANC government in SA to pay urgent attention to her case. Oosthuizen’s family also fear that they will now rarely be able to contact her, after she was recently moved to a new prison. Her parents have apparently last spoken with her in December last year.

The European Union’s African Union has declared that “rich countries” should stop storing Covid vaccines, to use for future boosters, which do not yet appear to be necessary, but should rather give them to Africa. Of course, AU is once again playing the begging bowl race card, that Africa is the eternal victim, in order to get things for free again, however the truth is that Africa has come off pretty light from the whole pandemic, despite all the mainstream fear-mongering and propaganda. The top health official of the African Union (AU), John Nkengasong, the director of the continent’s Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), attacked “rich countries” at a news conference on Thursday for their eagerness to administer a third Covid vaccine shot.

Scientists in UK and health officials are extremely worried that a new, highly infectious strain of the coronavirus discovered in South Africa may be resistant to the current generation of vaccines.
Professor John Bell, Regius Chair of Medicine at the University of Oxford, who helped develop one of the leading vaccines against the disease, said he is more concerned about the South African mutation than the widely feared strain that emanated from Kent in the UK and triggered major travel restrictions around the globe.
