Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 16 and 17 March, and the following week.

Most of the network will be open with services running as normal so you’ll be able to get wherever you need to go. Please check if any of the following affect you.

London Underground

Circle line
On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Paddington and Hammersmith. This is due to line modernization work. Use alternative Tube and local bus routes.

Hammersmith & City line
On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Paddington and Hammersmith. This is due to line modernization work. Use alternative Tube and local bus routes.

London Overground

Beyond the Deepening Shadow: The Tower Remembers
From Sunday 4 until Sunday 11 November, large pedestrian numbers are expected at Tower of London each day between 17:00 and 22:00. Tower Hill station will be extremely busy during the event and will be closed on Sunday 4 November.

Anyone attending the event should use the following stations, which are all around a 10 to 15 minute walk away:
• Aldgate East via the District line and Hammersmith & City line
• Aldgate via the Metropolitan line and Circle line
• Monument via the District line and Circle line
• London Bridge via the Jubilee line, Nor

Metropolitan line

On Sunday 28 October, there will be no service between Aldgate and Wembley Park before 09:30 and after 20:30. This is due to track replacement work. For travel between Baker Street and Wembley Park, use the Jubilee line. For travel between Baker Street and Aldgate, use the Circle line or Hammersmith & City line.

London Overground
Network Rail is carrying out work that will affect the following services.

Today, Thursday 25 October, there will be no service between:
• Romford and Upminster after 20:00. Use local bus routes 165, 2

Kennington improvements

Until mid-September, the Northern and Victoria lines, and some stations, are likely to be busier. Bank branch Northern line trains will not stop at Kennington while we carry out essential work to make it quicker and easier to change between branches, ready for the Northern Line Extension.

Central line
From 05:00 on Saturday 21 until 05:00 on Sunday 22 July, Central line trains will not stop at Bank station. This is due to platform engineering work.
